Indie Games vs. Trad RPGs
1:00pm - 2:00pm @ Cascade 7 & 8
Tabletop role-playing games have traditionally been shared storytelling with crunchy game mechanics and chance assisting in spinning the tale at your table. But on the flipside of that are gaming systems that encourage players to improvise and depend less on the numbers and the dice. Panelists will look at both game styles, name some example games, and discuss what might work best for different types of players.
