I won a CRIT Award!
The Goodest Girls, my story game about aging shelter animals living their best lives together, won the 2026 CRIT Award for Best GM-less TTRPG!
The CRIT Awards are an annual community-driven event that recognizes independent creators, game masters, podcasters, and streaming groups in the Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) space.
Inspired by 1980s sitcoms like The Golden Girls, The Goodest Girls is a replayable, single-session, shared-GM TTRPG for 2-6 players about a tight-knit group of senior animals at the local animal shelter, Shady Pines. Players collaborate to build the sitcom world of Shady Pines and the paw-inspiring characters who live there. They earn real treats for goofy antics as they step into a flashback episode where they reminisce about the times they shared with their fellow fuzzballs.
Iām honored to receive so much love for this sweet and silly game!
