Listen to a preview of Brigitte’s debut novel, The Normal Monster Club, coming from Generous Press in 2027. The Normal Monster Club is a cozy sapphic horror romance set in a cryptid-obsessed small town where two exes, a paranormal podcaster and a stubborn skeptic, must reunite to save a missing child as part of an investigation into an unsolved mystery from their childhood.

Dark Designs: Let’s Make a Horror Game, 11-11:50am

Our panelists will design a game on the spot — using prompts and ideas from the audience. The brilliant and creative members of the audience (that’s you — we’re all writers and artists here, right?) will throw out all manner of scary ideas for the panelists to mold into a  horror game. Is it a video game? A one-page tabletop RPG? A board game? That’s up to our roundtable of panelists and audience members to decide. Is it about a haunting? An unkillable slasher? A horde of zombies? We’ll decide as we go! By the end of the panel, we’ll have the working concept of a game that everybody will want to one-day play.
